BANFF and Lake Louise are both known for their breath taking scenic vistas, rugged hiking trails, and almost unbelievably blue waters. I spent the week hiking all over the area with my friends and finding hidden waterfalls, mountain top lakes, and the cleanest and most refreshing air I’ve ever tasted. If you love the great outdoors, this is the guide for you.

I knew the food in Canada would be amazing but I was not prepared for the sheer volume of incredible eateries across the town of BANFF. From breweries to distilleries, pubs to high end Asian cuisine, this guide has tips from the locals and a lot of trial and very little error. After a long day of hiking I ate my way through this amazing town.

There are tons of different options when choosing housing for your trip ranging from cabins, luxury hotels with mountain views, and massive AirBnB’s to choose from! I had the opportunity to stay in a variety of locations near the hiking trails and also in the city proper and that afforded me different perspectives of the area.
