    Despite being a small country of only a few hundred thousand in population, this place is packed to the brim with things to do. From hiking on glaciers to taking a dip in geothermal hot springs to riding ATV’s up a mountain, we did it all. There was a good mix of history, adventures, and amazing sight seeing in The Land of Fire and Ice.

    Icelandic food does not disappoint and is absolutely packed with variety. From the most mind blowingly delicious langoustine (lobster) soup to the traditional Icelandic breakfast pictured above, we absolutely ate our way through the country. I’ll cover all of our highlights and recommends on local fare in this extremely delicious guide.

    As Iceland and the capital city of Reykjavik are becoming more and more of a tourist destination there are plenty of great AirBnBs and hotels to choose from even in the heart of the city.
